Thank you to Beech Mountain Resort for a GREAT Ski Season! From the businesses in the Town of Beech Mountain & the Beech Mountain Chamber of Commerce.
We are thrilled with all the renovations, updates and new things that you are bringing to the resort.
A summer of improvements in 2014 really set the stage for a top-notch ski season. New SMI Super PoleCat snow guns were added and brought the resort’s total of high tech snow guns to 46. This gave the resort the best snowmaking capability in its 47-year history.
Also on the slopes, the lighting system for night skiing was upgraded, the J-bar beginner lift was replaced by a new Magic Carpet conveyer lift. Off the slopes, the resort continued to focus on amenities by completely renovating the View Haus cafeteria, adding a Burton Learn-to-Ride Center for snowboarders, partnering with Rossignol on a new fleet of ski rental equipment, and expanding teaching programs across the board for skiing and snowboarding.
We truly saw and recognized that the Beech Mountain Resort owners and management significantly invested in making our local resort one of the best all-around ski resorts in the Southeast. We are truly thankful for the resort and what it brings to Beech Mountain.
Thank you for an AWESOME Ski Season and for investing in Beech Mountain! We are ready for the summer activities at the Beech Mountain Resort. Stay Tuned, we will be updating you soon.
